About Us

The Joy of Simple Things team is made up of the husband and wife duo of Josh and Katie Krebs. Josh started this blog largely as a way to share poetry and thoughts he had while processing the pandemic. Thankfully his wife and marriage-long editor agreed over the holidays of 2021 to write a joint series on Christmas carols.  Over the 12 day series readership went up 12440%.  That is an actual figure. Finally, she agreed to join the team officially January 1, 2022.
